Attomica made no exception on their beginnings, before changing their recipe a couple of times. So, whereas their s/t debut (1987) was put up with the clear intention of becoming 'the fastest band in the world' (sic), bordering on black metal before black metal itself was born, Limits of Insanity (1989) was a half-misstep since it tilted towards a more heavy/speed style, and I can imagine why it's rarely mentioned among cult old school Brazilian metal records. But then Disturbing the Noise came, just in time for the final shots of our beloved genre (think of Arise or Idolatry, and just before Tapping the Vein and Epidemic of Violence, among others), and Attomica suddenly returned on the 'brutality' radar of metalheads, rejoining the club they had left two years earlier.
