MANILLA ROAD - Mystification LP (Black Vinyl)

As a whole, Mystification shows a pretty clear transition in the band’s sound. They would get incredibly aggressive in their last two 80’s albums. This is just the beginning, my friends. This album is a pretty strange one if you listen all the way through, but it’ll grow on you with time. This is not an album you just pick up and enjoy, that’s kind of the case with every Manilla Road album honestly, but this one especially. It’s got a really weird guitar tone, complex drumming, unconventional songwriting and the same unusual vocal style we love so much. If you give this a chance, I’m sure you’ll come to agree that it’s damn incredible and should be hailed as an all time classic like it is.
