NAPALM DEATH - Utopia Banished LP (White Vinyl)

Despite a significant shift towards grindcore, "Utopia Banished" maintains a similarly high standard to "Harmony Corruption" and doesn't sound like an attempt to please anyone. Okay, their fourth lp isn't as manifesto-like as their debut and isn't as shocking as their third album, but they've built upon those albums to create a distinct dimension of Napalm Death death-grind and many captivating tracks. Let the further confirmation of "Utopia Banished"'s quality be that when Napalm Death returned to grind fully after 2000 (yes, I know, spoiler alert), to this album they most often referenced. Whether they managed to surpass it's another story...
