PRIMORDIAL – Imrama CD

Imrama, according to Irish mythology, is the journey to the Otherworld—an alternate domain where magic, mysticism, elves and fairies coexist amidst an adventurous voyage of self-awareness and wisdom. That's the ambiance through which Primordial officially introduced themselves to the second wave of black metal. Honestly, it's quite challenging to put into words the significance of Imrama in a clear and precise manner, especially when it evokes powerful musical memories that can lead to subjective interpretations. Ultimately, what truly matters is music's capacity to summon deep emotions and leave a lasting impact, rather than a detached, mechanical riff-by-riff analysis. That said, there are still valid, objective reasons to advocate for the importance of Primordial's debut album.
