PUNGENT STENCH - For God Your Soul... For Me Your Flesh (Redux) MC (Pre-order)
Ships around December 11th 2026.
The redux: remixed and 3 tracks re-recorded! Pungent Stench’s 1990 Death Metal classic debut remastered!
What makes this record stand out is its total rejection of finesse. No melody. No clean lines. No attempt at showing off. Just a filthy, hostile churn of riffs that somehow stick in
your skull long after the noise dies down. Tracks like “A Small Lunch” and “Blood, Pus and Gastric Juice” prove that primitive Death Metal always hits hardest when it doesn’t try
to be clever. Sludge soaked slow sections collapse into savage bursts, and the bass rumbles underneath it all like some diseased animal clawing for daylight.
Things got even messier afterwards. Plans for a US release and a remix were underway, until the studio accidentally erased three of the original master tracks. Pungent Stench
had no choice but to re-record them in Vienna in 1992, while also working on what would become “Dirty Rhymes and Psychotronic Beats”.
