The album is full packaged with legendary songs, even if I really don't like the opener, \"The Sign of Evil Existence\", that is too much underdeveloped, only 2 minutes ling track, very out of context in the middle, or better (worse!), on top of very structured songs quite epic in nature. In my opinion, this track should be considered as a bonus track, or even a B-side, something that could be excluded from the official track list. It's just a preference of mine, a debatable opinion, and I respect for sure the choice of the band to include such a brief and simple song in the album! Production is warm, with thick low-end frequencies and, let's say, not freezing cold like the trebly equalization of northern black metal. A legendary release, along with the following two efforts from Rotting Christ, before the departure from black metal and the adoption of a more melodic death metal kind of gothic metal approach.
