I obviously know the main acts but it’s not every day I dig into this genre. One band I somehow for whatever reason didn’t check out right away is Sacramentum. A classic melodic blackened death metal\/black metal crew. If you love dissection. These guys sound right on point with\u003cbr\u003eDissection’s style. In fact, I’d say these guys are just as good as Dissection’s classic material. Especially with the debut “Far Away from the Sun”. A very atmospheric, aggressive, yet melodic black\/death metal classic.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSacramentum is a very powerful and underrated melodic black metal band. That contains so many tasty harmonies\/melodies in such a chaotic and hellish environment. If you love Dissection there is no way you’ll hate this record. It’s got the hooks, the wide and engaging songs, and the evil atmosphere. I recommend this album to any black metal fan. And someone who wants more melody with their black metal. This is also a good place to start if you’re more of a melody kinda person, and you’re not entirely used to the rawness of black metal. So check it out.
